KAS Tutorial was purchased from Fred and Esther Cooper in 2014. The Coopers were retired educators; high school principal and college professor. They established Gregg Tutorial about 1990 and located it in the Hyde Park Bank Building to serve residents of Hyde Park and surrounding communities. Their mission was to provide high quality tutoring services at rates lower than those of the large franchise tutoring firms. They sold the business to Ms. Kas who was a tutor with the firm. The sale was premised on the agreement to provide services in the same manner as they had. Over many years this has proved a successful technique for students.
